Free Dental Screenings with La Clínica
ARISE students can get free dental screenings during the school day, including:
- Fluoride cleaning
- Temporary dental caps for cavities
- A dental report with recommendations
All students need is a signed consent form. Insurance is not required. ARISE staff will walk students to their appointment at La Clínica.

Family Engagement
At ARISE, families are partners in everything we do. Our Family Leadership Wolfpack brings parents and guardians together throughout the year to connect with one another, build relationships with staff, get involved on campus, and help shape our school community.
En ARISE, las familias son nuestras aliadas. Nuestra Manada de Liderazgo Familiar reúne a padres y tutores durante todo el año para conectar, formar relaciones con el personal y dar forma a nuestra comunidad escolar.
Family Leadership Wolfpack 2026-27
All meetings are Mondays, 5:00-6:30 p.m., in Suite 205. Translation, childcare, and refreshments provided. Free parking at the Fruitvale BART garage.

Get support completing our YouthTruth survey and be entered into a raffle. Bring another parent or guardian for an extra entry. We want to hear from every ARISE family!

Review our YouthTruth results, brainstorm ways to strengthen our school community, and form parent action committees that turn ideas into reality.

Dinner with Dads
Monday, November 9, 5:00-6:30 p.m., ARISE Suite 200, Room 119. All ARISE fathers and male guardians are invited to connect with other ARISE fathers, hear from our Co-Head of School and fellow dads, and help shape how ARISE engages and supports fathers. Dinner and translation provided. RSVP on ParentSquare or call the front office at 510-436-5487.

Weekly Family Food Pantry
Every week, ARISE opens a free food pantry for our families, with fresh produce and groceries from the Alameda County Community Food Bank. The pantry is run by Kathia Osuna, our Senior Community Engagement Coordinator, with help from parent volunteers and ARISE staff.
Cada semana, ARISE abre una despensa de alimentos gratuita para nuestras familias, con frutas, verduras y abarrotes del Alameda County Community Food Bank. La despensa está a cargo de Kathia Osuna, nuestra Coordinadora Principal de Participación Comunitaria, con el apoyo de padres voluntarios y personal de ARISE.
